As President and Chief Operating Officer of RO, Mike Dempsey leads with action, motivation, and drive. He brings more than 29 years of industry experience, including over 24 years with RO, offering deep institutional knowledge and a steady, hands-on leadership approach.

Mike earned a degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin before completing his MBA at Southern Methodist University. A builder by nature, his passion for construction began early, working summer jobs framing homes. That same drive to see ideas take shape and projects come to life through impactful, landscape-changing developments continues to motivate him today.

In his free time, Dempsey enjoys cheering on the Longhorns, traveling, scuba diving, running around Lady Bird Lake, golfing, and taking his FJ40 out for a drive. He considers his most important and rewarding role to be raising his two daughters alongside his wife.
