Cosm at Grandscape is one of the first projects in Texas built entirely from a 3D model, replacing traditional drawings with a single digital source of truth. Rogers-O’Brien delivered this 65,000-square-foot immersive entertainment venue for a first-time client taking on a prototype concept, and the team set a new standard in the process.

Working in real time through the model with HKS Architects and project stakeholders, RO cut RFIs by 97% and reduced design labor hours by 30%. The job closed out ahead of schedule and under budget, with only 30 RFIs from start to finish.

Built around an 87-foot diameter LED dome, an immersive hall, an outdoor deck, and Cosm’s CX System software, the venue gives North Texans “shared reality” experiences spanning art exhibitions, experiential content, and live sports and entertainment events, including NBA games and UFC events. Cosm leverages 75 years of expertise in immersive technology to bridge virtual and physical realities, and the Grandscape venue expands what’s possible in immersive entertainment.
