Seton Medical Center Ann Showers Butler Pavilion Expansion

The Women’s Tower Expansion at Ascension Seton Medical Center is a six-story, 129,000 SF addition in Austin, part of a multi-phase renovation and expansion that ties into eight floors of the existing hospital. The new tower adds 32 postpartum rooms, three nurse stations, two nurseries, and the auxiliary rooms required to support a fully functioning Women’s Center. A 44,175 SF renovation on the second floor adds four C-Section operating rooms, recovery and waiting rooms, a new nursery, and several new nurse stations.

The site brought real complexity: a tight, heavily sloped footprint beside an active hospital helipad, demanding careful sequencing to keep work clear of live operations.
