USPI Woodforest ASC

The Woodforest Ambulatory Surgery Center serves the rapidly growing Montgomery County community north of Houston as a first-generation outpatient surgical facility within the Woodforest master-planned development. RO partnered with United Surgical Partners International and E4H Architecture to bring advanced, patient-focused surgical care to residents of Montgomery, Conroe, and the Lake Conroe corridor.

The single-story finish-out transformed a cold shell into a fully operational surgical environment with operating rooms, pre-op and post-anesthesia care bays, sterile processing, support spaces, and a welcoming patient and family experience zone. Every system meets the rigorous infection control, air handling, and life-safety requirements of an accredited ambulatory surgery center. Finishes and lighting create a calm, hospitality-inspired environment for patients and staff.

A Cost Plus with GMP contract and a best-value selection process drove an aggressive schedule with zero self-performed scope. The team closely coordinated with USPI’s operational stakeholders and a tightly orchestrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing team to bring the project home. The result is a turnkey surgical platform ready to serve patients on day one.
