The West 7th District

The West 7th District is one of Fort Worth’s premier entertainment hubs, a 900,000 SF urban village development that covers five city blocks just minutes from downtown. The historic Montgomery Plaza and Artisan Circle anchor the district, which brings together high-concept dining, specialty and fashion retail, office, residential, and distinctive entertainment venues. The development includes 255,000 SF of office, 330,000 SF of retail, 120,000 SF of hotel and condo accommodations, 370,000 SF of residential, and 577,000 SF of parking structures.

The full scope ran from site demolition and infrastructure coordination through finish-out of the new buildings, with pedestrian walkways, tree-lined streets, plazas, and outdoor seating areas tying the district together. The work earned a Topping Out Top 10 Finalist nod and ranked #35 on McGraw-Hill Construction’s ENR Texas Construction Top 50 Projects in the State of Texas.
