Across four WeWork locations in Houston and Austin, Rogers-O’Brien delivered office finish-out and tenant improvement services totaling more than 160,000 SF on aggressive schedules. The coworking spaces were designed to support business growth and collaboration for teams of 1 to 100-plus.

In Houston, RO transformed spaces at 609 Main and BP’s corporate campus. The BP pilot involved a high-density design-build interior renovation that began with complete interior demolition, followed by full BIM scanning and coordination of existing conditions, all MEP systems, and a structural monumental stair. Early coordination and clash detection allowed expedited construction of new layouts, systems, and finishes. A comprehensive technology package, including new IT infrastructure, a complete audio-visual system for conference rooms and workspaces, and electronic room schedulers, drove the build, complemented by custom millwork designed to house AV/IT racks.

In Austin, RO built out WeWork’s SXSW Center and University Park locations. The three-story SXSW Center, opposite the Capitol building, features shared and private workspaces, outdoor lounge areas, a recording studio, event space, and wellness rooms.

Across all four locations, premium amenities include custom millwork, innovative interior design, inviting lounges, fully equipped kitchens and dining areas, versatile conference rooms, and technology-centric collaborative spaces, all designed to support productivity, creativity, and the people who use them every day.
