Copperas Cove Police Facilities

The Copperas Cove Police Facility consolidates the city’s police department into a two-story HQ, replacing two cramped, inefficient buildings with a single, purpose-built home. The first floor houses communication and dispatch, a secure interview room, booking and evidence, an Intoxilyzer area, records, and vehicle processing. The second floor holds the criminal investigations division, juvenile booking, administrative offices for the chief, deputy chief, and lieutenants, locker rooms, and patrol workspace. Seventeen cells include two temporary holding and observation cells, and a two-bay sally port secures inmate transfers. The floor plan reserves flex space to absorb department growth for decades to come. RO delivered the work on time and on budget for the City of Copperas Cove, earning recognition from the city and an ABC Excellence in Construction Award.
