Waco High School

The new Waco High School replaces the original 1950s Richfield High School with a 360,000 SF campus built for more than 2,100 students. RO delivered the project in multiple phases, keeping the existing campus operational and safe throughout construction.

The modern facility centers on a fine arts complex featuring a 600-seat auditorium with a full stage and orchestra pit, paired with two gyms: a 1,700-seat competition gym and a 250-seat practice gym. A dedicated Career and Technical Education wing expands hands-on learning with an eight-bay auto-tech shop, culinary arts program, business and marketing labs, graphic design studios, and technology-focused suites.

Beyond the building, RO rerouted an active sanitary line running beneath the site and reimagined parking and egress systems to improve campus flow for students and staff

The completed campus marks a generational investment in Waco ISD, giving students a dynamic environment to learn, grow, and succeed.
