SMU Moody Coliseum

First built in 1956 as a 9,000-seat multi-purpose arena, SMU’s Moody Coliseum got a major expansion and renovation from Rogers-O’Brien. A north expansion added a club area for VIP guests, new suites, a full finishing kitchen, locker rooms, and coaches’ offices for several SMU athletics programs. A basement expansion added a new dock and practice area for the rowing team, and an east addition created a new Hall of Fame Club. Updates included new seating, enhanced concession areas, modernized restrooms, and upgraded MEP systems, along with expanded concourses with raised ceilings, club seats, loge boxes, private suites, group suites, new event space, offices, team locker rooms, and meeting spaces.
