Houston, Texas
Rogers-O'Brien Construction completed Little Rey Park Place, a vibrant new addition to the Upper Kirby neighborhood that brings the casual charm of South Texas to life. Inspired by traditional Mexican taquerias, this 4,579 SF interior finish-out, designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, captures a sense of nostalgia through hand-painted signage, vintage memorabilia, and carefully curated artwork.
The project includes the full build-out of a commercial kitchen with a walk-in cooler and dry storage area, ensuring efficient back-of-house operations. Customer-facing features include a welcoming point-of-sale counter, a dedicated To-Go counter, and flexible indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Four single-room restrooms were also integrated seamlessly into the design. This was RO's inagural project with owner, Rocket Farm Restaurant.
Little Rey Park Place is more than just a restaurant—it's a lively and inviting space that adds a touch of South Texas flavor and community spirit to the heart of Upper Kirby.
