UNT Eagle Landing Dining Hall

Denton, Texas

Architect: Kirksey Architects

Owner: University of North Texas

RO is the premier builder of UNT's new freestanding, two-story dining hall, Eagle Landing, that will support a minimum seating capacity of 700 persons across 36,000 SF. The building includes dining rooms, associated kitchen space, food preparation space, storage, dishwashing and other support areas for a modern facility. The dining hall will create a residential dining experience to attract new students, and also introduce an interactive environment that will allow students to customize their dining experience, with seven unique restaurants. Eagle Landing will serve up to 6,000 guests per day.

The University of North Texas has been nationally recognized as a leader in vegan dining on college campuses, and has received an A+ rating for several years. This new facility will further UNT's ability to provide high-end food options to students and faculty, and remain a leader in the student dining industry as the largest self-supported food service department in North Texas.
