By Sarah Trocolli - Apr 03, 2025

Rogers-O’Brien Construction (RO) is honored to receive the ABC National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award for our work on the Baylor Law School renovation. This project marked our first collaboration with Baylor University and reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality construction that enhances educational environments.
Spanning 34,000 square feet across multiple levels, the renovation revitalized the Law School while preserving its distinguished character. The scope of work included modernizing general office spaces, relocating high-density book shelving, enhancing kitchen facilities, upgrading security systems, and implementing new finishes and millwork to seamlessly blend with the existing design. Additionally, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems were upgraded to support long-term reliability and efficiency.
This award is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team, as well as the strong collaboration with Baylor University. Project Manager Rustin Page and Superintendent Dalton Jobe were regularly praised for their professionalism, clear communication, and excellent coordination throughout the project. Their leadership was especially critical in ensuring construction progressed smoothly while students remained in the building. Through consistent communication and careful planning, the team successfully minimized disruptions, allowing students to study, take exams, and participate in quiet hours without interference.
In addition to national recognition, the project also earned the ABC Central Texas Excellence in Construction Eagle Award, further highlighting the impact and quality of this renovation. We are proud to have played a role in shaping a space that supports both students and faculty, ensuring the Law School remains a premier institution for legal education.
