We are thrilled to announce that our NOVEL Turtle Creek project has been honored with the prestigious Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) National Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award. This accolade is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment of our project team.

Nestled amidst the Turtle Creek and Oak Lawn neighborhoods in Dallas' uptown area, NOVEL Turtle Creek stands tall as a symbol of luxury and sophistication. This distinguished 20-story residential tower offers 206 homes, each reflecting the essence of its surroundings and providing an elevated living experience.

The journey towards excellence was not without its challenges. Constructed on a tight site and commencing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, our team navigated obstacles with precision and determination. Significant upgrades to water and sewer systems were executed while avoiding disruption to vital infrastructure, including an underground telecommunications hub servicing a nearby AT&T data center. With constrained space and high unit volume, off-site prefabrication became essential, expediting floor completion.

Innovation was at the core of our approach. Our Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team meticulously modeled the project using Revit, facilitating streamlined processes and precise coordination among various disciplines. Alternative manufacturing solutions were implemented, resulting in significant cost savings. Safety was paramount, with engineered debris netting systems and perimeter protection measures meticulously deployed to ensure the well-being of all individuals involved.

In collaboration with our trade partners, we devised a groundbreaking production system for the exterior, streamlining assembly processes and accelerating building dry-in. Metal framing, exterior sheathing, windows, and air barriers were prefabricated offsite before being shipped for installation. This innovative approach enabled us to dry the building in weeks faster than traditional methods, expediting finishing work initiation.
