Marketing Manager

The marketing team at RO has a clear purpose: to inspire growth with creativity and enthusiasm to uniquely impact others as ambassadors of the RO brand. We are creative. We work hard. We are a collaborative team. And we know how to have fun along the way. RO is seeking a Marketing Manager for the Austin/San Antonio region. This position, based out of the Austin office, will also be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing various internal and external marketing and company related products and services. As the “go-to” marketing person for Austin/San Antonio, you will work with all team members from Safety to Sales, Superintendents to Support Staff. Your love for graphic design, writing and proofreading will be realized in the form of proposals, award submittals and marketing copy creation. You won't always be in the office! You will also have the opportunity to oversee the execution of client events, trade shows, job site events, and other company meetings as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Work on the day-to-day functions of the department, including, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of responses to RFQ/RFPs:
    • Maintaining project data, resumes and firm information
    • Create, maintain and revise stock marketing material
    • Support and develop the preparation and organization of proposals and establish deadlines for timely completion of review process and submission of proposals
  • Create, design, and organize graphical collateral material that visually promote the company and our projects
  • Work closely with the CRM Manager to maintain database of employees, project history, and prospective opportunities
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to implement the regional marketing plan
  • Maintain knowledge of local sales team's priorities as they relate to marketing needs 
  • Assist in coordination of company advertising, marketing campaigns and awards submittals
  • Maintain website updates and work closely with our Marketing Coordinator to promote social media and e-mail campaigns
  • Maintain the RO brand while implementing new ways to creatively promote our services

 Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year College/University and/or 7 years+ related experience in marketing construction or related services; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Software proficiency with Customer Relationship Management applications (bonus if it's Cosential!), Microsoft Office, Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere) 
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills are essential
  • Technical writing, editing and graphics capabilities mandatory

Physical Demands

  • May require travel to projects and other offices  
  • May require attendance of marketing related events, such as annual meeting, tradeshows, industry events, etc.
