Rogers-O’Brien constructed the built-to-suit distribution center for United Stationer’s relocation from its Dallas facility.  The Des Plaines,Illinois - based United Stationers distributes business products from more than 500 manufactures to 20,000 resellers. The distribution center has a structural steel frame with tilt wall exterior panels. A metal deck supports the conventional built-up roof.  The main warehouse area is ventilated by side wall louvers that are electrically linked to up draft rooftop ventilation fans.  The receiving side of the building has 20 overhead doors with levelers and this is supported by 20 overhead doors and levelers on the shipping side.   The site work includes over 280, 000 square feet of paving for general parking, truck access and dock areas. The supporting staff will office in 15,000 square feet of finished space made up of  lunch/break room, computer/data center, conference area, general office and visitor reception.  All areas are fully sprinkled with an interior fire loop and fire pump.
