Providence Christian School Renovations and Additions

Rogers-O’Brien was originally asked by the Providence Christian School to conduct select demolition, modify the HVAC system, add partitions and install millwork, slate and wood flooring. The RO team discovered that the existing electrical system, HVAC system and plumbing were in need of major repair and that adding components like wind bracing to the structure would be most advantageous. The demolition, repair and replacements took four months to complete while the finishes and interior design underwent major renovation. All millwork installed throughout the school is solid red oak, with red oak paneling and crown molding along all corridors, custom red oak doors, and slate flooring in lobbies and corridors.

As part of a different phase, Rogers-O'Brien also completed a 34,000 SF addition with 15 high-finish classrooms, a science laboratory, and gymnasium. A skybridge was built to link the existing building to the new addition. The new gymnasium included hardwood floors, telescopic bleachers, motorized basketball goals, 75-foot long GluLam beams, and boys and girls locker rooms.
