Recognizing his role in growing the general contractor’s Austin office throughout the past decade, Rogers-O’Brien has promoted Cisco Hobbs to Regional Vice President. He leads the Austin office in managing construction for Austin, San Antonio and West Texas. Hobbs has 29 years of construction industry experience and continues to lead the Healthcare Group for this region. He holds a degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University.

Rogers-O’Brien has also expanded its Austin leadership by relocating Vice President/Client Director, Mike Dempsey, from Dallas to Austin. With the company for 13 years, Dempsey works with Hobbs to meet the construction needs of clients in Central Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Both Hobbs and Dempsey are actively involved in the Austin business community, including the Real Estate Council of Austin, American Institute of Architects and Associated Builders and Contractors.

Preston McAfee, Rogers-O’Brien’s President and CEO said “Cisco has been a driving force in expanding our capabilities to build larger, more complex hospitals, mixed-use developments and corporate facilities. With Mike’s addition to our already substantial Austin leadership, we continue to strengthen our team in this part of Texas.”
